In “Paint it Black” Dean and Sam are up against spooky, bone-chilling suspense-filled supernatural forces as they investigate grisly, identical suicides by various people with little in common. The victims do go to the same church and commit suicide shortly after confessing to the same priest (played by guest star, Stephen Daniel Curtis). Obviously the brothers suspect the priest but as the investigation continues, the priest may in fact be innocent. Spoilers suggest a good looking nun maybe the culprit.
To add to the gruesomeness, the victims commit suicide by slow self-disembowelment. That sister must really have people issues! 🙂
Meanwhile Crowley has his hands full with mama. She has less then loving intentions when it comes to her son and it appears that all comes to a head this episode. Maybe she will depart and return Crowley to normal when she acquires her powers, assuming that ever happens.
You don’t want to miss this episode. Tune in Wednesday, March 25 at 9/8c on the CW.
ROWENA MAKES PLANS TO RECLAIM HER MAGIC — Dean and Sam investigate a string of suicides committed by people with little in common other than the identical, grisly method of death – slow, self-administered disembowelment. All of the victims were members of a Catholic church and had recently given confession, leading the brothers to suspect the priest (guest star Stephen Daniel Curtis) is somehow involved. Meanwhile, when Crowley (Mark Sheppard) captures Olivette (guest star Teryl Rothery), the leader of the Grand Coven, Rowena (guest star Ruth Connell) pleads her case to be allowed to practice magic freely again.
John Showalter directed this episode written by Brad Buckner & Eugenie Ross-Leming.
